He was worked with Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) as Vice President in the year 2004, taking care of Business Development as well as product (specialized in Agriculture commodities) analysis for ascertaining its suitability for COMEXs he worked with them for 10 Years. He was instrumental in launching many agriculture based contracts like Cardamom, Mentha Oil, Chana, Guar seed and Guar gum, Soya bean, Cardamomn, Cotton seed Oil Cake etc contracts on MCX Platform. Lastly, He was product head for Cotton in 2011, which is the most liquid and successful contract in agriculture commodities in last one decade.
He has strong business acumen with expertise in implementing commodity procurement and trading strategies; skilled in ensuring customer. He possesses extensive knowledge about economic / financial reforms in global commodity markets as well as complete awareness about price risk factors. He also tried his best to link international link agriculture commodities in Indian COMEXs and for that he toured/meet many international COMEXs officials to understand the subject.
He has comprehensive experience in developing relationships with key government organisations, procurement agencies, Physical Traders and corporate sectors to understand their procurement requirements; excellent in suggesting the most viable financial services (commodity derivatives), procurement solutions for agricultural allied products for retention & acquisition.
